Visiting the Polish Baltic coast, we invite you to our Miniature Park in Niechorze. We offer a guided tour which will last no longer than 45 minutes. You will visit the entire Polish coast and all lighthouses from Krynica Morskia to Świnoujście. All our miniatures are build in scale 1:10.

Female lighthouse keepers in Poland- Sep 10, 2013
The woman who worked the longest as a lighthouse keeper is Weronika Łozicka. She worked for 20 years in the Stilo lighthouse. For 18 years worked Alina Żuckowska in the lighthouse Jarosławiec. The lighthouse in Niechorze was also operated for some time by a woman. Małgorzata Brodnicka worked about 10 years in Niechorze.
The female lighthouse keepers were able to run quickly up the spiral stairs, they knew the entire electrical system of the lighthouses and of course also knew how to change the 1000 watt lightbulbs.
Further evidence that women are able to do original "men's jobs" very efficient.
